The Cathedral

I found the Cathedral reading to be interesting. The wife had made friends with a blind man years previous and they had kept in touch. The point in time came when they wanted to meet again. This husband was skeptical about having this blind man friend of his wife come into the house. He was able to eventually open up and allow this man to teach him something. He was able to open his horizions and be trusting in someone else to show him a new trait. I think that we all can learn from this to not judge people who are less fortunate, but learn from them. They have to live life a little harder and different. If we can look at them as a way to learn, we too could see life in a different way.
